Arduino 2 not available on 64-bit (due
to Electron).
1.8.19 can be easily compiled… but 2.0 is kinda …..
well, 1.8.15 exists. I'll have a look..
I upgraded to 1.8.19.
For 2.0 we have to wait for upstream to update it:
https://archlinux.org/packages/community/x86_64/arduino/
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/arduino-ide-bin,
mmh. seems to be binary only. and 64-bit only too..
https://github.com/arduino/arduino-ide, uh, based on Theia IDE and Electron.
Electron is long gone on 32-bit. So 32-bit has to stick to electron1. This
also means, I have to make a fork and a package on AUR of the last 1.x.x version
for my personal projects too (which run on a EEEPC 701).
I made a fork for the old IDE which still runs on 32-bit:
